1.Product Overview
The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is suitable for power distribution systems with AC 50Hz, rated working voltage 380V, and rated working current up to 3150A in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, and other electricity users, for the conversion, distribution, and control of electrical energy for power, lighting, and distribution equipment.
The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is a new type of low-voltage distribution cabinet designed in accordance with the requirements of the competent authorities of the Ministry of Energy, the majority of power users, and design departments, based on the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. The product features high breaking capacity, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical schemes, convenient combination, strong serialization and practicality, novel structure, and high protection level. It can serve as a replacement product for low-voltage switchgear assemblies.
The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet complies with standards such as IEC 439 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies" and GB 7251 "Low-voltage switchgear assemblies."
2.Operating Conditions
1.The ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C and shall not be lower than -5°C. The average temperature over any 24‑hour period shall not exceed +35°C.
2.The equipment shall be installed indoors. The altitude at the installation site shall not exceed 2000 m.
3.The relative humidity of the surrounding air shall not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permitted at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20°C). The effects of occasional condensation due to temperature variations shall be taken into account.
4.The inclination of the equipment during installation shall not exceed 5° from the vertical.
5.The equipment shall be installed in a location free from violent vibration and shock, and where electrical components will not be subject to corrosion.
5.If the user has special requirements, the matter shall be resolved through negotiation with the manufacturer.
3.Operating Precautions
This product is a low‑voltage distribution cabinet designed for free‑standing installation (not against the wall), with single‑sided (front) operation and double‑door access for maintenance. The maintenance access and cabinet doors may only be entered or opened by qualified personnel who have passed the required assessments, for the purposes of operation, inspection, and repair.
After repeated opening and closing operations, the main contacts of the air circuit breaker may become locally burned and generate carbonaceous deposits, increasing contact resistance. The air circuit breaker should be regularly maintained and inspected in accordance with its instruction manual.
